DVMUG Zoom Classes

These classes will be included as part of membership in DVMUG. That makes the cost of membership an even better deal at only $45 per year. The cost of one of these classes at the adult school is $30.

The classes are also recorded and made available on YouTube only to DVMUG members. You can watch these classes on your Apple TV or Roku device on your big-screen TV any time you want.



iOS 26
November 2025 – What’s new in iOS 26

iOS 26 completely transforms the iPhone user interface with its groundbreaking Liquid Glass design, which introduces fluid, translucent, and layered aesthetics across the system. This visual overhaul breathes new life into everyday applications, starting with the Phone app’s dynamic contact cards and tone-responsive live transcriptions that shift based on caller mood. The Photos app benefits from this depth with layered spatial galleries and tactile editing tools that respond fluidly to touch. Finally, the Messages app rounds out the experience by implementing floating text bubbles that stack visually by priority alongside adaptive, mood-tinted chat themes.

iOS 26
October 2025 – What’s new in macOS 26 Tahoe

macOS 26 Tahoe completely transforms the desktop experience with its groundbreaking Liquid Glass design, introducing fluid, translucent, and layered aesthetics across the system. This release marks the biggest-ever revision to Spotlight and debuts a dedicated Phone app directly on the Mac. The addition of Live Activities provides real-time glances at ongoing tasks, while dozens of other system-wide improvements make your existing hardware feel like a completely new machine.

Sequoia
November 2024 – What’s new in macOS Sequoia

macOS Sequoia optimizes desktop productivity by introducing wireless iPhone Mirroring to interact with your phone directly from your Mac. It delivers automated window tiling layouts to organize open applications efficiently alongside a dedicated Passwords app for streamlined credential management. The Safari browser receives functional improvements, including built-in web page Highlights and Distraction Control tools. Finally, the platform deepens its capabilities on Apple silicon hardware through the integration of Apple Intelligence, introducing tools for automated writing assistance and contextual Siri updates.

Apple Intelligence

On Mac models with Apple silicon, macOS Sequoia introduces Apple Intelligence, which draws on your personal context to give you intelligence that is most helpful and relevant for you.

October 2024 – What’s new in iOS 18

iOS 18 delivers extensive user interface personalization alongside an intelligent application overhaul. This release introduces flexible Home Screen app layouts, global color tints, and a multi-page Control Center. Security is reinforced through a dedicated Passwords app and native features that let you lock or hide specific applications behind Face ID. Communication apps gain RCS messaging support and an iMessage scheduling tool, while the Photos application transitions to a single-view layout with automated themed collections. iOS 17
December 2023 – What’s new in iOS 17

October 2023 – macOS Sonoma

The Numbers app allows you to build visually stunning spreadsheets using impressive tables and images and comes pre-installed on most Apple devices. On iPad, you can leverage Apple Pencil to sketch useful diagrams and vibrant illustrations directly onto your sheets. November 2022 – What’s New with iPadOS 16

For maximum flexibility, the application can open Microsoft Word files natively and export its own documents directly into Word formats.
